Explore the TEAPOTS Zenodo Community
The TEAPOTS project supports the European Commission’s principles of Open Science and Open Access by ensuring that its results on agricultural waste-to-energy solutions are openly accessible, transparent, and reusable.
Open Access enables free and immediate online availability of scientific outputs, while Open Science promotes a broader culture of collaboration and transparency across the entire research lifecycle. While closely connected, Open Science represents the overarching approach, and Open Access focuses specifically on making research outputs publicly available.
To put these principles into practice, TEAPOTS shares its public deliverables, publications, and communication materials through its dedicated community on Zenodo. Developed by CERN within the OpenAIRE initiative, Zenodo provides a reliable platform for storing and sharing research outputs, assigning each item a DOI to ensure proper citation and long-term accessibility.
By making its results openly available, TEAPOTS accelerates the uptake of integrated, modular solutions that convert agricultural residues into heat, electricity, and cooling, while producing biochar to enhance soil health. In doing so, the project supports farmers in becoming energy prosumers, reduces reliance on fossil fuels, and contributes to a more circular, resilient, and sustainable agri-food system.
