Stakeholder Workshop

Held on 22 January 2026 in Brno, the stakeholder workshop brought together project partners, external industry stakeholders, and researchers, engaging more than 40 participants in discussions on pyrolysis and thermo-composting solutions for a circular agri-food sector through expert talks, interactive roundtables, and the Bio-Innovator of Brno Award.

Interactive Roundtables

The interactive roundtable session enabled direct exchange between TEAPOTS partners and external stakeholders, focusing on practical feedback, challenges, and recommendations for improving the uptake of agri-waste-to-energy solutions.

Discussions highlighted the need to better align technologies with local conditions, business realities, and regulatory frameworks, while ensuring solutions remain flexible and scalable across different biomass streams and regions.

Stakeholders emphasised that successful deployment depends not only on technology performance, but also on clear communication, viable business models, skills development, and cooperation across sectors.

This feedback will directly inform TEAPOTS’ ongoing work on system integration, stakeholder engagement, and pathways toward real-world implementation.

Bio-Innovator of Brno Award

The Bio-Innovator of Brno Award engaged participants in a live idea challenge,
where innovative concepts for agri-waste valorisation were shared and voted on online.
