TEAPOTS represented at Mercado de Oportunidades 2026

The TEAPOTS project was represented at the 4th edition of the Mercado de Oportunidades, held on 7–8 January 2026 in Póvoa de Lanhoso, Portugal, through the participation of project partner INL. Marco Martins contributed to the programme as a speaker in the session “Innovating in Low-Density Territories: Where Do Opportunities Emerge?”
(Inovar em territórios de baixa densidade: onde nascem as oportunidades?), highlighting the role of innovation and technology in regional development.

Organised by the Municipality of Póvoa de Lanhoso, the event focused on employability, training and entrepreneurship, bringing together companies, educational institutions and regional stakeholders. INL’s participation provided an opportunity to disseminate TEAPOTS activities and engage with local actors on sustainable innovation pathways, including renewable energy production from agricultural waste and circular biomass valorisation.

This participation forms part of TEAPOTS’ broader dissemination and communication strategy, aimed at strengthening collaboration between research institutions, businesses and communities, while promoting the project’s objectives of supporting sustainable agri-food systems and regional resilience.

We thank INL for contributing to the visibility of TEAPOTS and supporting knowledge exchange within the regional innovation ecosystem.
