General Assembly Meeting, Greece

The TEAPOTS General Assembly meeting held on 25–26 June 2025 in Karditsa, Greece, brought together project partners for two days of productive discussions, strategic planning, and field demonstrations. Organised by the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH), this event underscored the project’s commitment to collaboration, technological innovation, and real-world impact.

Set against the scenic backdrop of the Montanema Hotel, the meeting opened with a warm welcome from the project coordinator, Raffaele Catoni, from SMACT. Partners from across Europe gathered to reflect on progress to date and define the next steps for achieving TEAPOTS’ ambitious goals.

The first day was dedicated to technical presentations and strategic discussions. The Work Package Leaders shared detailed updates on their activities, outlining recent achievements and planning the next steps.

A key highlight of the day was the Exploitation Workshop, delivered by FENIX TNT. This session offered partners a thorough introduction to the exploitation plan, describing how TEAPOTS results can be commercially leveraged, integrated into the market, and translated into tangible benefits for stakeholders. The workshop sparked engaging conversations about pathways to maximise impact and ensure the long-term sustainability of project outcomes.

Following the closing remarks and a forward-looking discussion on immediate priorities, participants engaged in optional networking activities, further strengthening personal connections that underpin the project’s collaborative spirit.

The second day of the meeting began with a visit to the Filia Ghi facilities, the project’s first pilot site, where the TEAPOTS technologies are being implemented, tested, and used under real conditions. Partners explored the vineyards and demonstrations of TEAPOTS sensors installed by INL in real-world situations. Following the demonstrations, the group reconvened to discuss the installation strategy of TEAPOTS technologies. This exchange of technical perspectives and operational planning reinforced a shared commitment to delivering impactful results in the project’s next phase.

The TEAPOTS General Assembly in Karditsa was a valuable opportunity to align visions, exchange expertise, and build momentum toward the project’s objectives. We extend our sincere thanks to CERTH for their outstanding organisation and to all partners for their active engagement.
