ERSAF at the PREPSOIL Workshop

Our partners from ERSAF participated this year in the PREPSOIL Workshop: Advancing Soil Health Living Labs, co-organised by the European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL) and Wageningen University. The workshop brought together representatives of Living Lab and Lighthouse initiatives to strengthen collaboration and advance user-centred innovation approaches for sustainable soil management across Europe.

Over two days of expert discussions, interactive sessions, and a field visit in Belgium, participants explored best practices, shared challenges, and contributed to the development of the PREPSOIL Toolbox, a key resource supporting the maturity of Soil Health Living LabsERSAF actively disseminated TEAPOTS activities and research results, engaging with researchers, practitioners, and stakeholders to raise awareness of the project’s work on renewable energy use, biochar application, and innovative agricultural practices. This exchange reinforced the relevance of TEAPOTS solutions within broader European soil health and sustainability initiatives.

The European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL) is an international, non-profit, and independent association of more than 480 certified Living Labs worldwide. Living Labs are user-centred, open innovation ecosystems that integrate research and innovation processes into real-life communities through systematic co-creation. ENoLL facilitates knowledge exchange, joint actions, and project partnerships, while advocating for EU policies and supporting the implementation of Living Lab approaches across Europe and beyond.
