Greek Pilot Featured in Bioenergy Days 2025

The TEAPOTS Greek pilot in Karditsa, coordinated by CERTH, has been highlighted in the European Bioenergy Days 2025 campaign, which showcases innovative bioenergy solutions across Europe. The feature presents how the TEAPOTS Integrated Solution (TIS) is transforming locally available biomass into renewable heat, electricity, cooling and soil-enhancing products at the Filia Ghi winery.

The article explains how the TEAPOTS Integrated Solution (TIS) converts vineyard prunings, olive branches, and other residues into renewable heat and electricity through pyrolysis, the Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC), and the Compost Heat Recovery System (CHRS). It also produces biochar and compost for use in the vineyard, improving soil performance.
