New Video: INL's Sensors for Biomass Growth Monitoring

We are excited to share a new video from our partners at the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL) that highlights their groundbreaking work on biomass growth monitoring sensors developed within the TEAPOTS project.

This video offers an inside look at INL's journey, from gathering essential environmental data to designing and deploying advanced sensor systems. You will see how the team integrates computer vision and artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze crop growth, segment vegetation, and calculate biomass levels in real-time.

• The engineering and testing of monitoring poles conducted in INL's labs, followed by their deployment on a farm near Braga, Portugal

• The use of AI models, image processing techniques such as depth mapping, and row segmentation to facilitate more precise biomass analysis.

• A peek into the internal data portal where all sensor data is stored, managed, and monitored
